BLACK HISTORY MONTH WEBINAR-“UNEARTHING THE FORGOTTEN HISTORY- THE STORY OF EVESHAM”
For Black History Month 2023 the Evesham Human Rights Advisory Council held a special webinar entitled: “Unearthing the Forgotten History – The Story of Evesham”
Members of the public were invited to Learn about the free Black men and women who lived in Evesham Township decades before the start of The Civil War, several potential stops on the Underground Railroad, and the abolitionist Quakers who lived in this area in the 19th century.
